Decoupled Speed and Flux Control of Three-Phase PMSM Based on the Proportional-Resonant Control Method

Field-oriented control (FOC) has achieved great success in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control. For the PMSM drive, FOC allows torque and flux to be controlled separately, which means are decoupled from each other. Since is by speed controller, it can considered that of also other separately. In this paper, we propose a vector using controllers based on proportional-resonant (PR) method. A controller proposed generate d-axis reference current, whereas regulator used as well q-axis current. The PR dq-axis currents voltages; its design included.Therefore, separately controller. Matlab/Simulink environment utilized for simulation, while dSPACE DS1104 experimental work. method simple; there no or estimators required, so avoid complexity scheme. tested under different scenarios, including change, load change. simulation hardware results show effectiveness controlling with fast response good dynamic performance scenarios.
